What happens at the graduation ceremony?

The venue gates will open 45 minutes prior to the start of the graduation ceremony. Please see your ticket for full details regarding ceremony start times.

There will be no formal rehearsal, although there will usually be a briefing for all graduates prior to the ceremony start time.

Graduates will be invited by Graduation staff to move to the front of the stage row by row. Staff will check names and ensure regalia is worn correctly before crossing the stage. Graduates will cross the stage to receive their award. A photo is taken of each graduate as they receive their award certificate from the Chancellor. Graduates then return to their original seat.

For further details about what to expect please see your ceremony locations & information webpage.

Congratulations to our new graduates!
